We Are In Beijing!!!

Ni Hao!  We made it to Beijing!  I can't believe that we are actually in China!  The flight was uneventful and long.  I watched the Hangover at least 3 times and the same Simpson episode twice.  There were many adoptive parents on the plane with us from numerous different agencies.  There were approx 7 families that were with Great Wall China Adoptions.  We met the other family that is going to be with us in Beijing and travel with us to Guangzhou.  Tom and I just got back to the hotel after having dinner with them.   So far, these are my observations about China.....the traffic is crazy!  I would not want to be driving a car or riding a bike around here!  The people are very kind and friendly.  It's strange to be in a place where you do not speak the language at all.  Tom and I could not manage to get a soda with dinner tonight due to us not being able to communicate effectively at all with our waiter.   Tomorrow, we are going to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall!  I can't wait to see it all!  I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow.  Only 3 more days until we meet Zachary!!!!   By the way, we flew right over the North Pole on the way here!  I gave a 'shout out' to Santa!
