Maybe Tomorrow?

For those of you that have been keeping up with our journey or our lives, you know that Tom and I do not have the best luck! While we are incredibly blessed....we are incredibly unlucky! We have been waiting for our Travel Approval for 8 weeks now. The average wait is 2-4 weeks. Seems about right. Anyhoo, our paperwork is sitting on the desk of the Top Director in China awaiting his signature for well over a week. We found out that he went out of town before he had a chance to sign our papers. Lovely.

Then, to add insult to injury, Tom lost his wallet in Chicago on Friday. We are not sure if someone stole it or if he dropped it, but either way it is gone. Awesome. Thankfully, he found someone in his office that would give him money to buy a train ticket home that night. We were both at work late making sure that our credit cards were all canceled before anyone could start spending our hard-earned money.

Then, after having to replace the brakes on my car last weekend, we had to bring Tom's car in to get checked. That was over $1500 we didn't have to spend at this time. Fabulous.

So, we had to get to the DMV first thing on Saturday morning to make sure that he got his Driver's License replaced. I got a new one just for fun. Whoooooppppppeeeeee!

Now tomorrow morning, he is going to have to drive me all the way to my work (20 miles in the wrong direction) so he can have my car to get to the train station and back.

Therefore, I'm really hoping that rainbows shoot out my butt tomorrow with some good news!!! It's time to go and get that little guy!
