Yesterday was Gotcha Day! It's hard to believe that 2 years have passed since Zachary became our son! We had a wonderful night with our little boy. He started with a hotdog...got some presents that we brought home from China and then ate some of his giant chocolate chip cookie cake! I remember the day we received our child like it was yesterday. I remember how terrified he was, I remember how heartbroken his nannies were to leave him, I remember how hot and loud the room was, I remember all of the tears (both happy and sad), I remember the moment I held him in my arms, I remember how Tom just melted when he saw him for the first time.....those memories are such a blessing.
He has grown so much over the last 2 years! Sometimes I just find myself so overwhelmed with love and gratitude that he is my son that I almost can't breath. My life is so full of blessings! I can't wait to see what the next year brings!
